Vinted looks free to sell on — and it is, in the sense that there is no seller commission. But "free" is not the same as "profitable". If you buy a bundle of 10 items for €50, sell one for €20, and never split the bundle cost, you will think you made €20 when you actually made €15 — before shipping and taxes.

The Vinted profit formula
Net profit = sale price − item cost − shipping − platform fees − taxes
- Sale price — what the buyer pays you (Vinted pays you the item price; the buyer pays shipping and Buyer Protection separately).
- Item cost — what you paid for the item. If it came from a bundle, split the bundle price across the items (a €50 bundle of 10 = €5 per item).
- Shipping — what you actually paid to send it (or the label cost if you offer free shipping).
- Platform fees — €0 seller commission on Vinted in most markets in 2026.
- Taxes — income or self-employment tax on your profit if you resell regularly.
